History

The club has been based at various venues over the years but has been located in the sports hall at Billericay Sports Centre for several years now. The club has continued to train to a high standard providing quality coaching (with full insurance and sports council recognition) and developing high calibre pupils.

Sensei Steve Fitch 2nd Dan is the registered instructor with the Jikishin Ju-Jitsu association and is assisted by Sensei Neil Treloar 2nd Dan.

Steve first started Ju-Jitsu at West Horndon school and continues to train and develop his techniques and skills until becoming the clubs Sensei/chief instructor. Steve Fitch and Neil Treloar were approached to take over the running of Noakbridge Jikishin club in 1994 which they readily accepted, undertaking the necessary coaching exams whilst continuing to train for 2nd dan blackbelt. Neil Treloar left to continue training in France for 4 years and returned to the club in 2004.
